Jan 2007 - A Harry Potter fan, who penned an unofficial Harry Potter book (Harry Potter and the decline of the High elves), has been contracted by a publisher to write for them! Dec 2006 - According to many sources, Harry Potter 7 book has topped the online charts of many book stores out there! This shows the popularity of the boy wizard Harry Potter! Make sure you pre-order your copy to get your hands on one on launch day!
Royal Mail has announced it is preparing for the floodgates to open on the new Harry Potter book. Last time around over half a million pre-orders were sent through the postal system, and they expect the number to be even higher this time around. Royal Mail will have to use extra delivery vans to cope with the strain of the mass delivery. "Now that Christmas is out of the way we will be talking to online retailers to get an understanding of the potential volumes of books being ordered,” a Royal Mail spokesperson said.
